Migrant crisis cost US $150 billion dollars in a single year

A new study from the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) reveals that the migrant crisis cost U.S. taxpayers approximately $150 billion last year, with much of the burden falling on state and local governments.

The increase represents a $35 billion rise in expenses since 2017.

The study highlights significant costs in states like California, Texas, and New York, with California leading at nearly $31 billion.

Despite paying taxes estimated at $32 billion, illegal migrants still left a hefty bill for American taxpayers.
