California woman who was kidnapped in Mexico while walking her dog is released from captivity

A California woman who was kidnapped in Mexico while walking her dog eight months ago is back in the US after her captors released her.

The woman was kidnapped in November while walking her dog in Jalisco, Mexico. In April, the FBI released surveillance footage of her kidnapping. Three cars passed by before her captors jump out and force her into one of the vehicles while her dog ran around the street.

No one has been arrested or charged with her kidnapping since her return home. The federal agency is still investigating her captors.
