Mexico: authorities rescue 17 women victims of human trafficking in Cancún.

The Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo (FGE) stated in a statement that the discovery occurred after executing a search warrant at an establishment located on the Cancún-Tulum highway.

According to information from the agency, victims of foreign origin were attracted by false job offers in luxury hotels in Carmen Beach.

“Upon arriving at Mexico“, supposedly on vacation, they were recruited to work exhausting days in bar-restaurants, taking advantage of the state of vulnerability derived from the lack of employment and poverty in which they lived in Argentina”, noted the State Public Ministry.

Furthermore, he indicated that they managed to arrest three Mexican men identified as Luis Alfredo ‘N’, Emmanuel ‘N’ and Ángel Alberto ‘N’ for their probable participation in this illegal act in the municipality of Solidaridad and that they were placed in disposal of the public ministry to define your legal situation.
